Exciting News! An American Ascent is about to go on the big screen. This is the documentary film I worked to create with Distill Productions about the first all African American climbing team to take on North America's highest peak Denali (Mt. McKinley). The film will start showing in a number of festivals around the country; the first is the San Diego Black Film Festival at the end of this month. January 31st at 4pm. Andy Adkins and I will be in San Diego to attend the event along with some of the climbers from the team. I hope those of you in So Cal can join us for it. Stay tuned for more information about where the film will be showing next.
