HOYA SOLAS IRND

The Hoya SOLAS IRND filters were created using the latest materials and Japanese manufacturing processes to maintain a neutral color rendition throughout their density range of 0.3 to 3.0. A factor that a lot of ND filters do not take into account is the affect of IR (Infrared) light on color. As digital imaging sensors become more and more sensitive to light they are also more susceptible to overexposure and more sensitive to infrared light.

Hoya PRO ND100000 The Hoya PRO ND100000 filter is a 16.5 stop neutral density filter designed for multiple photographic applications including very long exposures, solar photography, and solar eclipses. This is a ultra-dark filter with a "filter factor" of 100,000 meaning it only passes 1/100,000 of the light that enters the filter. That translates to a light reduction of just over 16.5 stops. This is necessary due to the sun’s intensity even during a solar eclipse.

Hoya PRO ND100000

The Hoya PRO ND100000 filter is a 16.5 stop neutral density filter designed for multiple photographic applications including very long exposures, solar photography, and solar eclipses. This is a ultra-dark filter with a "filter factor" of 100,000 meaning it only passes 1/100,000 of the light that enters the filter. That translates to a light reduction of just over 16.5 stops. This is necessary due to the sun’s intensity even during a solar eclipse.

Circular Polerizer 

Hoya engineers recognized a need for a circular polarizer filter that could meets the demands of super high resolution cameras, and the needs of photographers who shoot in conditions where every bit of light is important. Utilizing a new multi-coating process that applies 16-layers of anti-reflective coating to the optical UV glass, Hoya created a filter that is 2x sharper and a coating that is 200% harder than the award winning HD2 circular polarizer filter.

HD3 UV

    Hoya engineers recognized a need for a filter that could meet the demands of super high resolution cameras, and the needs of photographers who require ultimate protection for their expensive lenses. Utilizing a new multi-coating process that applies 32-layers of anti-reflective coating to the optical UV glass, Hoya created a filter that is 5x sharper and a coating that is 800% harder than the award winning HD2 UV filter.
