“We had a wide variety of skill levels and Hudson’s ability to relate to all of us was amazing! I will definitely take another of his workshops.”
What makes my workshops different?
Adventure of course. I build my workshops first with the place in mind. Be it in Moab or Portland, each location bring a unique set of challenges and opportunities. From the minute you arrive we'll be discussing when, what, where, and how to shoot. My end goal is to help empower you to better tell your own visual story of the adventure that ensues.
1:1 and Group Instruction
I limit my single instructor workshops to 10 students in order to focus on each individual's needs and questions. We'll spend time chatting before, during and after your workshops to make sure you get the most out of it.
even pros will find something useful
One thing I know is that you can never stop learning new skills. With photography, gear and editing this is doubly true. Before you attend we'll discuss your specific skill set, your goals and review some of your favorite images.
"The workshop was one of the great creative experiences of my life. Hudson is not only a talented teacher, he creates a relaxed atmosphere that nurtures learning and experimentation. Most importantly, the workshop was as much about the art of photography as it was about technique. I highly recommend spending time with, and learning from Hudson.”
